What is A+ Educators?
A+ Educators provides energetic professional development workshops designed to invigorate educators with the joy of teaching. Each A+ Educators workshop focuses on the art of teaching through professional dialogue, research-based strategies, and practical classroom implementation. How do I register for a seminar?
You can register for any A+ Educators seminar in one of the following ways:
Online: Search for the workshop you would like to register for, then click on Register Now. Complete the requested information and submit your registration.
By Fax or Mail: Search for the seminar you would like to register for, locate the seminar on the search results page, then click on Registration Form (download pdf file). Print out the Registration Form and Fax your completed form to 888-756-7628 or mail with your payment to A+ Educators, 7227 N. 16th St., Suite 190, Phoenix AZ 85020.
By Phone. Call us toll-free at (866) 626-7556 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Please have the workshop name, date, location and payment information available. We will also need to know the name, phone number, email address, title, and grade level of each attendee. We’ll be glad to help you register.

Do you accept purchase orders for registration?
Yes, you may register with a school or district purchase order. Simply supply A+ Educators with the purchase order number and the name, address, and phone number of the school or district responsible for payment at the time you register. Make sure to fax a copy of the purchase order to A+ Educators at 888-756-7628.

Is there a registration deadline?
There is no cut-off date for accepting registrations. We accept registrations up to the day of the seminar, including walk-in registrations (space permitting). Seminars are closed to registration when they reach the capacity of the seminar site. Please register as soon as possible!

When is my payment due?
Registration fees are due and payable at the time of the workshop. Checks, VISA and MasterCard accepted. No cash please.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Your paid registration fee is fully refundable if you can't attend and notify us at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the program. Late cancellations receive credit toward a future seminar. Please call our registration department at (866) 626-7556, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, if you need to cancel your registration.

Can someone else substitute for me at the seminar?
Substitutions may be made at any time. If you know who will be taking your place prior to the seminar, please give us a call at (866) 626-7556, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with their name and registration information. Otherwise, have your substitute notify the on-site registrar the morning of the seminar and we will take care of it for you.

What are the starting and ending times of the seminar?
All seminars are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On-site registration and check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. Most workshops have a mid-morning break and a lunch break approximately at 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Where is the seminar, and how do I get there?
To find out when and where your seminar is being held and to get a map and directions:
- First, Search for the seminar that you have registered for,
- Then, click on the hotel location to view a map and get driving directions from Google Maps.
- If you are still unsure how to get to the seminar, call the hotel location for directions.

Is there a parking fee at the site?
All parking fees at the seminar site are included in the cost of your registration and will be paidby A+ Educators.

Will the seminar be cancelled if bad weather is expected?
A+ Educators makes every effort to complete all scheduled seminars. In cases of severe weather, please call the meeting site directly the morning of the program to confirm whether or not the seminar will be held that day. If you need to cancel due to inclement weather please call our registration department at (866) 626-7556, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time and we will issue a credit for a future seminar.

May I tape record or videotape the seminar?
Due to copyright/trademark issues we cannot give permission to audiotape or videotape our seminars.

Is attendance verification available?
All seminar attendees will be provided a personalized certificate verifying the number of hours of participation, which may be used to meet individual continuing education or re-certification requirements in your local school or district.

Can I earn college credit for attending one of your workshops?
Yes! Participants attending A+ Educators workshops have the opportunity to earn one graduate elective credit by completing a follow-up practicum project and paying an additional fee of $65. Chapman University is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. This graduate credit is not part of a degree program but is primarily used for professional advancement (such as salary advancement and license renewal). Students should seek approval of appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, certification, or state/local professional development requirements.

What other types of re-certification credits are available?
Re-certification credits and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) options vary from state to state. A+ Educators is an approved provider for most State re-certification credits. Please check our Continuing Education Units page for details.

What funding sources are available to help pay for workshops?
Funding sources that may be available to help subsidize the cost of the workshop include: Title I, Title II, Title IV, Title VI, Title VII, Restructuring Grants, At-Risk, Bilingual/ESL and Migrant Education Funds, “No Child Left Behind” Funds, IDEA, Demonstration School Funds, Parent Teacher Organizations, Inservice Training, and School Improvement Funds.
