Are you a dynamic, master teacher? Do you have special skills or knowledge
that you would like to share with your colleagues? If so, you might be a perfect
presenter for A+ Educators.
A+ Educators hosts practical and progressive one-day seminars for
teachers across the country. We are seeking new and experienced, enthusiastic
presenters to conduct quality educational programs for PreK-12 educators and school
leaders.
As a presenter, you:
- Are an independent contractor
- Gain national exposure
- Have a flexible work schedule
- Benefit from A+ Educators national marketing power
- May be hired for additional consulting work by schools, districts, or staff development
organizations requesting customized, on-site presentations
- Have the opportunity to promote and sell your books
Compensation is based on a daily rate plus a formula-based stipend depending on
audience size. We provide printing, logistical arrangements, and an on-site
facilitator. Workshop dates are collaboratively scheduled based on presenter availability.
Most presenters are scheduled within driving range of their home or to surrounding
states.
All presenters are required to have:
- Classroom teaching experience
- Education training or presenting experience
- Presentations with practical ideas and proven strategies for educators
- The ability to motivate, interest, and involve the participants in your presentations
- The ability to customize your presentation for the audience
If you are interested in becoming a presenter for A+ Educators,
please send the following items to presenters@aplusworkshops.com:
- Letter of interest including complete resume
- A 2-3 paragraph presenter biography
- Written description of the workshop that you present. Each workshop description
should include:
- A clear, catchy title
- The grades levels on which you can present
- The objectives (what a participants will learn)
- What the participants will “walk away with”
- 3 sources of research support for the strategies or content contained in your workshop
- List at least 3-5 professional references, including complete contact information.
Once we have received all of your information, it will be carefully reviewed.
If we feel that you are a good fit, you will be contacted by a member of the
A+ Presenter Review Committee.
